Just because you’re doing dramatic improv doesn’t mean that it can’t be funny. In fact, often when you truly commit to the reality of a scene, many everyday moments can turn out to be very funny. In this workshop, you will learn how to make connections with your scene partner before any words are even spoken, as well as how to react emotionally to the reality of the scene, heighten the stakes, and choose a comedic point of view without losing the drama in the scene. Working this way will help you discover that dramatic improv can be as easy as having a conversation.
