Description
In this class we will continue to build off our short form skills to learn how to create fully improvised scenes. We will accomplish this with a series of fun games and exercises that will make scene work as easy as having a conversation. The final class will be a show at The Laughing Academy that will include a combination of short form games and long form scenes. In this 6-week class we will work on:
- Improvising one line at time
- Object work and environments
- Making strong emotional choices
- Creating believable dialogue
- Finding humor from the situation/characters
Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m., May 9-June 6, with a show on June 9.
